As a Naval Aviator, Mr. Toensing served as both a carrier-qualified pilot and flight instructor, training other Navy pilots in advanced flight techniques. His aerospace expertise is grounded in his academic foundation - a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota.
Commercial Aviation Career:
Following his military service, Mr. Toensing's commercial aviation career encompassed multiple sectors, including:

His work took him across North America and led to extensive operational experience in the Middle East and Asia, culminating in a position with Hong Kong Airlines.
Academic Leadership:
When the global pandemic led to aviation industry changes in 2020, Mr. Toensing transitioned to academia, accepting a lecturer position at the University of Hong Kong. There, he specialized in teaching English for Science and Technology, focusing on developing students' technical communication abilities as well as critical thinking skills.
