Paul Toensing
Founder & CEO, Custom GPT Solutions
Paul Toensing brings extensive experience in aviation, education, and technology leadership to his role as founder of Custom GPT Solutions. His diverse career spans military service, commercial aviation, and academic instruction across multiple continents.
Military & Aviation Experience:
As a Naval Aviator, Mr. Toensing served as both a carrier-qualified pilot and flight instructor, training other Navy pilots in advanced flight techniques. His aerospace expertise is grounded in his academic foundation – a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota.
Commercial Aviation Career:
Following his military service, Mr. Toensing’s commercial aviation encompassed multiple sectors, including:
- International freight operations
- Medical transport services
- Corporate aviation
- Global passenger services
His work took him across North America and led to extensive operational experience in the Middle East and Asia, culminating in a position with Hong Kong Airlines.
Academic Leadership:
When the global pandemic led to aviation industry changes in 2020, Mr. Toensing transitioned to academia, accepting a lecturer position at the University of Hong Kong. There, he specialized in teaching English for Science and Technology, focusing on developing students’ technical communication abilities as well as critical thinking skills.
Current Focus:
As founder of Custom GPT Solutions, Mr. Toensing leverages his comprehensive background in technical operations, education, and global business to develop AI enhanced solutions for modern business challenges. His approach combines technical expertise with practical application, ensuring solutions that are both innovative and implementable.
